Social Services And Child Abuse: Who's The Victim

A look at what happens when social services scream child abuse falsely. It could happen to anyone.

In cases of child abuse the government should get involved. But what about good parents? Should the government raise our children? That is what is happening across our country. The government has just as much say so or possibly more than you do, when it comes to your children. How do we feel about this?

Most I have asked are angry and upset with how much authority the government has today just over helping us raise our children.

Good parents can be turned in by their own children for just trying to enforce parental guidelines in the home. Most children do not enjoy any kind of constraints or being confined by rules and regulations. Most children feel they are not being treated fairly when reacting to certain methods of discipline. This is also in the classroom. To be fair to the children we have all been there. Our parents, out of love will forbid us to certain activities that others are being allowed to do, or others are just doing it and getting away with it. But we would realize that to go ahead without permission from our parents or an entrusted adult will notably bring the consequences.

In the child's mind, this can be a form of abuse rather than discipline. When a counselor comes to the classroom and asks the children if they have been abused, many will say yes, even if they are not.

All cases must be investigated, and this is rightly so to protect the innocent children that are truly being abused or molested. Most really abused children, however, will not speak out and report the perpetrator for fear of their lives or for fear of some other heinous punishment.

An adult who is really abusing a child knows how to control the child into silence. So sometimes to get to the bottom of the true child abuses, the good, caring parents have to suffer.
