Swedish Meatball Recipe

This Swedish meatball recipe makes a great appetizer or can stand alone as a meal itself.

2 lb. ground beef

2 eggs

1 small onion, chopped

1/2 cup bread crumbs

salt and pepper to taste

1/2 cup water

1/2 pkg. Lipton Onion Soup Mix

1 cup sherry wine

Mix all ingredients together. Form small meatballs. Fry until brown. Drain off fat. Add 1/2 cup water and let simmer. Add 1/2 pkg. dry onion soup mix, 1 cup sherry wine. Cook for 1/2 hour. Thicken with 3 Tbsp. flour.
