Are There Places People With Allergies Can Live Safely?

Are there places people with allergies can live safely? Some allergies can be treated by sleeping in another bedroom, while others can be treated by moving to extreme environments like Austin, Phoenix, Seattle, San Diego, Tahiti, or Hawaii.

Because you become allergic to the things you are around the most, your allergies are always worse where you live. The first thing we tell people to do is try a different bedroom in the house. There will be different pollens or molds in another room, and that might help them clear up. Almost all my patients can go two hours out of town in any direction and clear up. Long term, we want people who are allergic to molds to go to dry areas. If you live in Austin, which has a lot of molds, then we suggest you consider moving to Phoenix. If somebody who is allergic to dust lives in Phoenix, they can go some place where there is higher humidity like Seattle or San Diego. Nobody would be allergic in Tahiti or Hawaii because all the air that comes across that island just came across 7000 miles of the ocean without a single plant in the way.
