You should look mainly for limited sound, a great deal of clearance, more depth in terms of the actual grinding mechanism, deeper within the channel and depending upon your family and your need. If you are doing a lot of cooking and actually are meaning to dispose of a great deal of food during the preparation process, you are going to need a larger garbage disposal cell. Look under the sink to see what style of garbage disposal you currently have. If it's a smaller one but you find yourself preparing a lot of food and having to dispose of a lot of food, you need to upgrade to a larger capacity one. Also make sure that the grinding ability of it is effective based on what you need to grind up. Obviously we don't recommend people try grinding up things like baseball bats. We have to restrict you to actual food products but some people are making some foods and vegetables that required a more furious level of grinding.
