Landscape lighting is a common one because a lot of people don't want to run the wires through the ground, etc. In New Hampshire it's similar. Solar lighting works fine here in the summer. In the winter we could have 1-2 hours of sun a day, which means it might snow for a week. They might not work quite as well in the winter here as in Hawaii.
