Well we're very fortunate in Christian County to have the Pennyroyal State Park. It is one of the most beautiful parks I've seen. It's great in the fall to go out and see the trees changing the colors. They have great hiking trails, a lodge, a golf course, boating, and camping. Land between the Lakes is a national park with a planetarium, hiking, biking, canoeing, and a nature center with different kinds of animals and a working farm from the early 1900s.

We have the Pennyroyal Area Museum which is a museum about our local area history. They have a nice Edgar Cayce Display and put on an Edgar Cayce Seminar. Heritage Museum is at the Trail of Tears Park. It's not a large museum, but it does have very good exhibits. It's free, but I believe the Pennyroyal Museum is $2 for adults.

Our community college has a Round Table Literary Park with an exact replica of King Arthur's Round Table. It has an amphitheater for literary reading and things like that. The Jefferson Davis Monument is just a 15 minute drive as well.

The Bravard Vineyard and Winery is in North Christian County. It's a smaller winery, but we do get a lot of inquiries about it. We also have an Apple Festival. We have a couple of apple and peach orchards that do group tours where you can actually come out and see how to plant a garden and feed the animals. City people often like to see what it's like to be in the country.

We actually have four golf courses within 20 miles of us. One of them is just right outside our county, and then we have two courses right here in Hopkinsville. The municipal course is quite challenging. There is the Links Course, the Pennyroyal Course, and one on the Fort Campbell Army Base. What I found is that a lot of people like western hills, because it is challenging. The Links are becoming more and more popular as well.
