We have the Rapids Water Park on Military Trail in downtown which is a fun place to visit. We are on the ocean as well, so we have a number of beaches available. The water park is usually full, so I would get there early in the day. I don't there is a need to buy tickets in advance, though. Diva Duck is an amphibious tour. We have a great zoo, the Palm Beach Zoo, open year round with special exhibits and great hands-on activities for children. Also in the western part of Palm Beach County, we have facility called Lion Country Safari which allows you to take a car tour through natural habitats with lions, elephants, giraffes, and other wild animals. They offer opportunities to feed newborn animals, and the zoo also has themed events throughout the year.




Yesteryear Village at the South Florida Fair Grounds has restored historic buildings, candle makers, weavers, and other attractions from the early 20th century. The Nork Museum of Arts is an internationally recognized museum of arts with a large permanent collection of 19th and 20th century artists. The Palm Beach Kennel Club is open year round. It's a dog track for dog races, plus it has a large poker room for those who want to play poker. It also has a restaurant on site. We have hiking, biking, water skiing, softball, soccer, and everything you can imagine. There are some parks directly on the ocean, some directly on fresh water, and others that are land-locked.
