There is traditionally vinyl or some type of a resilient used in bathrooms. Sometimes they use resilient tiles that you will stick on the floor, because you can do that yourself. Sometimes they put carpet in there, especially in a vanity area. Tile can get pretty slick if it gets wet so then the people put down a scatter rug to keep from slipping on it. Generally, tile in the bathroom is probably your number one and then at least in the vanity area there is some carpet. Laminate is a great alternative for someone who wants a wood look in the bathroom because it can withstand more moisture than a hardwood can.
