A lot of that fantasy can get in the way because when you are living life day to day, you have got to go to work and you have got to clean up the house. It's not the same as that wild, fun-all-the-time, romantic vision. You're coming into reality around that and understanding what can be expected and what really can't be expected is really important. Talking to people who have been married, if there are issues between you and your partner, really deal with those early rather than just thinking it is all just going to go away. That tends to build rather than disappear once people are married. A lot of people just ignore some of the basics and think everything will change once they are married, and that's just not true. I have worked with a lot of couples going through the process of getting married and just all of the putting together of the wedding and the details can drive people apart or add more stress. Often they have this huge build up to this event. Where are they going to be afterwards? It is definitely worse. I am talking about remembering what a day to day life is, rather than just preparation for marriage. It's very different.
