That just depends on the person. There are several different ways a person becomes an abuser. He may have been abused in his own lifetime. He may have seen his dad abuse his mom and think that it's okay, and that's how women should be treated. He may never have been in abusive relationships and may just lash out or have control issues. So it really just depends on the person. I wouldn't say it's necessarily genetic, but there is a learned behavior. Control is something that people learn to do and having control over human beings would define domestic violence.
