How to Use Glycerin in Beauty Recipes

Liquid glycerin Cotton ball Rosewater Bottle Spray bottle Double boiler Water Solid glycerin Stove Aloe vera gel Soap mold Loofah sponge Empty juice can Liquid Glycerin Apply liquid glycerin to a cotton ball and use it to remove eye makeup quickly and effortlessly. Create a simple moisturizer by mixing equal parts of liquid glycerin and rosewater in a clean bottle. Cap the bottle and shake it well to mix the ingredients before each application. Mix one part glycerin with two parts water in a plastic spray bottle. Spritz this mixture onto hair to smooth it into place and control flyaways. Solid Glycerin Pour two or three inches of water into the bottom pot of a double boiler. Place a block of solid glycerin into the top pot and set the double boiler on the stove. Turn the burner on low heat. This allows you to slowly melt the glycerin without fear of scorching it. Watch the glycerin during this process and remove it from the stove when it has completely melted. Mix one cup of melted glycerin soap base with 1/8 cup of aloe vera gel to create a soothing soap for sensitive skin. Pour the mixture into a soap mold and allow it to harden before use. Place a loofah sponge into a clean empty frozen juice can. Pour enough melted glycerin soap base into the can to fill it to the brim. Allow the soap to harden and then remove the can. Slice this exfoliating soap to create round bars.
