Dust your blinds with a Swiffer duster. The flat surfaces of wood blinds will pick up dust easily. Regular dusting with a Swiffer duster will pick up the dust and make keeping the blinds clean easier over time.

Wipe the blinds with a damp cloth and a diluted wood cleaner. Mix warm water and a mild wood cleaner in a bucket. Dip in a rag and wring it well, then wipe the blinds with the rag. Dry with a clean, soft cloth. This will give your wooden blinds a deeper clean than simple dusting.

Apply a wooden furniture polish. After the blinds are thoroughly clean, wipe them down with a rag dampened with a wooden furniture polish. This will bring out the shine in the wood and make cleaning dust and dirt off the blinds easier in the future.
