In the spring the average temperature is right around 70 degrees. You can do a number of outdoor activities. We have the desert flowers that start blooming during that time, and the cactus start blooming as well. Then, our summer average temperature is right about 90 degrees. Because of our low humidity, tourists are still able to continue to do all of the outdoor things. Plus, we have the mountains that are right on the outskirts of town, so you can always go up into the mountains to get away from the city. Some of the warmer temperatures are created by the large population within the city, because it has to be about 15-20 degrees cooler at the top of the mountain than it is in town. In about 30 minutes you can be at the top of the mountain from about anywhere in town.
