Boca Raton is hot in the summer, but gorgeous in the winter. We always look forward to the winter. Some people think it's too cold, but we don't think so. Mornings could easily be 40 sometimes, but of course it warms up as the day goes on. The afternoons are beautiful and in the 60s. We love it when it gets down to 40, because it doesn't happen very often. Like Orlando, it rains here in the summertime. That's our hurricane season. Sometimes it pours like its never going to end, but in 30 minutes it could be over. It rains more in the afternoon than in the morning, so if you want to play golf, go in the morning. If you want to go to a museum, go in the afternoon. For children, we also have the Sugar Sand Science Park with playground equipment built by the community out of wood.
