For the most part, the weather is fairly moderate on average. We have pretty good weather year-round. Now there are those extreme days where a tornado pops up, or we get an ice storm and you can't really go anywhere, or it's just really hot. That's just like any other city; some days the weather is just not good. For the most part, 90% of the time the weather is pretty good. Of course, in the winter you need a coat. In the fall, the weather is perfect; October weather is perfect. April and May the weather is perfect as well. Of course, in May you get into tornado season. I would say April, May, September and October are prime months for the weather. In December and January we can get a snow storm that catches you by surprise. Sometimes it makes travel difficult. In May you could encounter tornados. There are people that want to experience a tornado. December, January, and May are bad weather months; you might run into something you really didn't bargain for.
