It's mild year around here in Monterey County. We don't get a lot of extremes, no snow and no excessive weather. Our best weather is in the fall and spring. Along some areas of the coast it can be foggy during the summer months of July and August. People should dress in layers. You should always come prepared with a jacket for the cooler nights. The average year around temperature is approximately 59 degrees Fahrenheit, in summer the temperature's usually in the high 60s and low 70s and in winter it's in the mid 50s. There are just a handful of days where it's over 90 degrees or even over 85. We have really mild, pleasant weather and the air is very fresh and clean because we are right on the ocean.
