We do small weddings onboard. We are better suited for small weddings. We have a lot of requests for it; but if you are a bride to be, you have got a guest list and your mom has got a guest list. You have to decide if the boat is big enough and there is actually a chance that it may rain. So when people ask, we say yes but we have got a 30 people max. We are ideal for that because even with a rain shower we can get 30 inside. But if they are in the 50s or high 40s, then I always tell them to find a bigger boat. A boat can be safely rated for 49 by the coast guards. My advice would be to make sure your friends are very comfortable; they can move around, they can talk, and they don't feel that they are packed like sardines. That is the reason we say 35 is a comfortable number for our boat, even though we are rated for 49.
