In West Hollywood alone, there are over 14 hotels. It depends on the ambience you are looking for. They are pretty much all the same price with the exception of a couple that are higher-end. They are actually quite unique and some of them are residentially located hotels; a little bit trendier, more design conscious hotels. They are actually on residential streets. West Hollywood again is a very dense area. So back in the 80s, when the city was coming up, instead of building new hotels and seeking those difficult permits, a lot of hotel owners decided to buy out existing condominium buildings and convert them to hotels. It is a real value for the consumer because what you have basically is more than average spacing in a room plus kitchenettes, fireplaces and they are all tastefully decorated. You won't be bothered by loud noises on Sunset Boulevard or any other large street. These are great options for visitors. An economical stay in one of these hotels probably would range from $129-149 a night. The higher end hotels can go anywhere from $219-400 a night depending on the type of room. Typically our rates are a little bit lower than Beverly Hills rates because again West Hollywood is about style and class not necessarily about opulence and luxury. There is actually no bed-and-breakfasts in West Hollywood, the hotels here tend to be more full service hotels. There might be some bed-and-breakfasts in the Santa Monica beach, Van Nuys and Marina Del Rey areas.
