There are some boats that go out into the ocean and they take people whale-watching. That is really a lot of fun. I did that this summer. We had some out of town company and we took them whale-watching and it was spectacular. There are minky whales, humpback whales and sometimes you can see dolphins and seals and other sea life, but, those are the two prominent ones. I think there are also some sharks. So, it is interesting to go out. You never know what you're going to see when you get there. There were some sand sharks I remember one time when we went whale-watching. We didn't see them this summer, but they are different looking sharks and they came right by the boat. It is interesting.

The Seacoast Science Center is a great place to go and do bird watching. You could go biking and hiking through the woods and by the ocean. It is a State Park that is actually located in Rye, which is the next town over, but it is all so close that you can imagine with only an 18 mile shoreline that going from one end of our coast to the another is not a longtime and so going to the Seacoast Science Center, there is also a center where you can do hands-on types of activities for adults as well as children. You can go through and ride bikes on their trails and hike and so on.
